Sometime after graduation, but before BarBri turned me into an insane, jittery mess, my little brother came to visit (this post). And then Mary J. came to visit (a later post). I loved having this company, although the memory of the fun times is too fast fading!

This will be mostly pictures.

Party Preparations

On the day Bobby came to Chicago, we had the long awaited Graduation Kegger. We made a lot of snacks. I drank a million beers. It was fun.

Aftermath of the Party

I didn't feel my best the next morning. Here I am with the keg on the porch.

Leaf Nose

Sriram was here at the same time as Bobby. Laks, Bobby, Sriram, Mark and I wandered about, ate food, and enjoyed beautiful Chicago.

Guitar

My brother is such a talented guitarist and song writer. I hope he's recording some of his new songs so I can post them for you. He's nice enough to humor me sometimes. We also played at an open mic at the Hansa Clipper on Lincoln at some point. I think Mark and/or Mary have pictures from that??

Tennis

At some point, the ever-patient Mark undertook to show Bobby and I how to play tennis. Bobby was pretty good. I am uncoordinated. But I had fun nonetheless.

Discussion of possible exam topics in family law (during a break in lecture on secured transactions):

Me: there are a lot of conflict of law issues

D: yea, like whether a later marriage from another state is valid if everyone thinks the first wife is dead.

J: would the second marriage be a good faith wife in due course?

... silence ...

... laughter ...

say you wanna get in, then you're gonna get out. but you won't, 'cause it's a trap.

If I pass the bar exam under these conditions, I will have proven, once and for all, that people are a bunch of babies.

I'm so bitter.

1. Biking down the lake path this morning (near Irving Park):

An extremely skinny biker with a beard speeds past me, whistling. I note that "madness.com" is printed across the back of his shorts.

2. 10 minutes later, biking down the lake path (near Fullerton):

An extremely skinny biker with a beard speeds past me, whistling. I note that "madness.com" is printed across the back of his shorts.

3. 10 minutes later, biking down the lake path (near Ohio):

An extremely skinny biker with a beard speeds past me, whistling. I note that "madness.com" is printed across the back of his shorts.
