Yes, my dear friends, that is an octopod child. Her name is Lakshmi and she is supposed to be the reincarnation of Vishnu. I'm completely serious. While I understand the operation she's undergoing will be lifesaving, it's really sad to see one less beautiful octopod in the world.

I officially feel like part of the rat race. There better be some really nice cheese at the end of this thing.
